LUKA es un duo de Synth Pop formado en el 2016 en Barcelona por Juliane Heinemann y Marc Cuevas. La cantante berlinesa, en el mundo indie ya conocida por sus discos publicados en solitario, se junta con el músico barcelonés para crear, en colaboración, un repertorio de canciones originales agridulces. El concepto de Luka está basado en una instrumentación electrónica reducida y minimalista, un sonido fino y elegante, ideas armónicas sencillas y estribillos pegadizos. Su primer disco ‘Slowdancer’ está publicado por Discos Flotantes en el 2017.

Luka is a Barcelona synth pop duo formed in 2016 by Juliane Heinemann and Marc Cuevas. The Berlin singer, who is already known for her earlier published indie solo albums, and the Barcelonian musician join to create a collection of original bittersweet songs. Luka’s concept is based on an electronic minimalist instrumentation, an elegant and sophisticated sound, simple harmonic ideas and catchy hooks. Their first album ‘Slowdancer’ is released by Discos Flotantes in 2017.
